Summer is the fourth dimension to head to the nearest beach or hill station.
Summer is the time to sit back and relax.
Summer is the time to unwind with your favourite book.

This is my summertime reading list for this year. A mix of a little vacation vibe, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of interesting read.

1. The Inn at Lake Devine
By Elinor Lipman
Just the proper noun of the book invited me to catch information technology and become transported to the summer of 1962.

2. Go set a watchman

my hands on this one.

three. Tourist Season
By Carl Hiaasen
Tourist season..information technology is well-nigh long needed vacations for us. But how is it like for people who make
most their earnings during this time – the people who migrate to tourist spots during summers to
make their almanac earnings. This book got me thinking about all these things.

four. The shell
By Rosamunde Pilcher
I have had a knack of collecting shells ever since babyhood. This one piqued my curiosity.. Is information technology
virtually simulated pearl trade or how the shells come up into being or the creatures that inhabit these
beautiful creations.

By Jhumpa Lahiri
Ever since I read the namesake, I take become a big fan of all things ' Jhumpa Lahiri '.

re-alive long forgotten school days once more…the gold days of our life that shaped our life.

Ghost stories make vacations all the more than enjoyable by adding a chip of thrill and a tinge of nostalgia. Perfect for those long flight or railroad train journeys.

beach

The Black Pagoda or the Sun Temple of Konark is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Just iii kms from the temple lies the beautiful konark beach. This was the first beach that I had visited subsequently a gap of about six years. When the waves touched my feet for the showtime fourth dimension it felt like I was in sky. It had hardly been a week after the wedding and the henna was still a lovely color. In a moment of euphoria took out my camera and clicked our anxiety symbolising a moment of togetherness today tomorrow and forever. Our forever. .finally after 7 years of dating each other. I program to use this moving picture on the last page of my wedding album depicting the journey thereafter.

gogoa

E'er since I was a piddling girl, I have dreamed of having a grand wedding ceremony. At present all of us practice that. Don't we ?

From getting majorly irritated when my mom refused to dress me up every bit a 'Dulhan' (helpmate) for a fancy dress contest to making biting enemies of girls who dressed up equally a Dulhan for the aforementioned competition ( they stole my dream fancy wearing apparel . Didn't they ? ). When people asked me, "Beta, aap bade hoke kya banoge ?" I would instantly jump and say 'Dulhan' much to the charging of my parents. I used to cut off all the bridal lehengas and sarees off newspapers and magazines and stick them in scrapbook when my parents went out socializing. As I grew up, Destination Weddings became the talk of the town. And, I was hooked.

My Big Fatty Indian Nuptials at present got bigger than e'er before. I would dream of a breathtaking mandap gear up on the beach with strings of shells as ornamentation, untouched sands stretched out for miles, the sun lighting the heaven in a soft orange colour as it went down the horizon, the waves of the ocean coming in periodically on the shore as if doing a silent 'swaha' to the Sanskrit mantras of the panditjis, me dressed in all the conjugal finery stealing stolen glances at my groom. My parents- at moments looking happy, at moments looking sad. A yard emotions running wild in my listen.

Everyday I used to wake up to the aforementioned dream. Ane fine day, as I was browsing through my facebook updates I came across a picture show of a long lost school friend at a destination wedding in Goa. In the adjacent one-half hr, I had browsed through the 150 odd pictures. I merely tin't depict my feelings in words. I had finally found the perfect Hotel for my Dream Wedding …… Ramada Caravela Beach Resort, Goa.  Excellent onetime-world architecture, sprawling dark-green lawns, sun kissed private beaches, crystal clear water, non a soul in sight.

From then on, all my dreams invariably featured this lovely 5 star holding. Finally, when the time for my own wedding came, I was stuck in a ' chat mangani pat byah  ' situation just ii month to do all the wedding preparations. My dreams of having a destination wedding in a state of sun and sand came shattering down.

Now, I have devised a way to get back at fate, to finally realize my dream. I would like to begin my stay with a long walk across the shore, exploring the acres of greenery effectually, a laid back day spent swimming or trying my hand at Golf, lazing around in a hammock reading an intriguing book, or but lying back taking in the view on one of the armchairs on the shore, collecting sea shells of all shapes and sizes, to challenging my partner to a cycle race on the shore, jotting downwards some poesy on the beach or watching the sun go down.  Any mode I decide to spend my mini vacation on this holding, I would like to end it with an elaborate Mail service-wedding shoot by the sea….. Draped in a vi yard wonder, stealing glances at the love of my life, hearing the blessing of the ocean waves in the groundwork.

Taking dorsum with me a pocket full of memories…etched in our hearts for the years to come past.
